It is with both regret and anticipation that I inform you that I will be leaving Fresno State. My last day of work is Friday, June 3, 2011.
It has been a pleasure and an honor working as a Fresno State Outreach counselor and coordinator of the African American and Veteran Outreach. I am truly grateful for all the support I have received from the community.
During this period of transition Outreach will continue to maintain the African American Facebook page, Blog, Twitter and YouTube account. They will continue the work of keeping the community connected and informed. If you have information that will benefit our community please email it to fsbulldogblack@yahoo.com
Also please visit out social media sites if you haven't already done so. The sites contain useful information that includes content pertaining to education, financial aid, scholarships, Fresno State news, jobs / internship related tweets, Fresno and Fresno State event.

Love your enemies. It makes them so darned mad. ~P.D. East
You block your dream when you allow your fear to grow bigger than your faith. ~ Mary Manin Morrissey
"The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me? But... the good Samaritan reversed the question: If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?" ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
There is always something to do. There are hungry people to feed, naked people to clothe, sick people to comfort and make well. And while I don't expect you to save the world I do think it's not asking too much for you to love those with whom you sleep, share the happiness of those whom you call friend, engage those among you who are visionary and remove from your life those who offer you depression, despair and disrespect. ~Nikki Giovanni
