Go to a concert at the Save Mart Center...
The Save Mart Center is an exciting arena for hockey, basketball, monster truck rallies, rock concerts and other live performances the Save Mart Center is located at California State University, Fresno, and is also home to famous Bulldog Stadium. Work out or enjoy other activities in the Rec Center...
The first-floor of the building includes two racquetball courts, two aerobic and dance studios that offers classes for students, four full-size courts for intramural basketball, badminton and volleyball games, shower/locker rooms and multipurpose meeting/games rooms. The second floor will have a jogging/running track and room for additional fitness equipment, plus administrative and staff offices.

Visit the University Student Union...
The University Student Union houses many of the day-to-day services a student needs in order to be successful in the college environment. There is no other place on campus where you can grab a bite to eat, buy discounted theme park tickets, mail a package, get a hair cut, purchase a parking pass, and go bowling without ever stepping foot outside the building. Take a minute and look through our facilities pages to discover the wide variety of different services and amenities that are housed within the USU.

Take a trip to the Downing Planetarium and Space Museum...
Bet you didn’t Fresno State had a place to gaze at the stars. Well, it does! Sited next to Science II, the Downing Planetarium has a 74-seat star theater with a 30-foot dome. Weekend shows are publicly available.

Grab a snack at the Food Court...
The Food Court in the USU offers customers a wide variety of options when it comes to grabbing a quick meal on campus. Subway, Chick-fil-A and Panda Express, accompanied by a large seating area, and multiple televisions create a unique eating atmosphere in the hub of campus.

Keep your eyes open for events...
Throughout the year there are different cultural, educational, social, and academic events on campus. Clubs sponsor and put on events, guest lecturers come to speak, movies are shown, workshops, UU hour, etc. Keep a lookout for fliers advertising such events. You’ll be surprised at what interesting things are going on at Fresno State!
